Robert Beaumont

Robert Beaumont is president and founder of ULTRAMEDIA. As the former President of Lightning Entertainment, Robert oversaw all company operations including production, acquisitions and sales for both international and domestic releases. During his tenure the company grew to become a leading independent programmer for North American, Latin American and Western European VOD markets with domestic output deals at Sony, Lionsgate and Anchorbay. Robert’s team headed international sales for notable titles including LOVE AND HONOR (Liam Hemsworth, Theresa Palmer), BEAUTIFUL BOY (Michael Sheen, Maria Bello), GUS, (Michelle Monaghan, Radha Mitchell), HOW TO MAKE MONEY SELLING DRUGS (Woody Harrelson, Susan Sarandon, 50 Cent), THE HOT FLASHES (Daryl Hannah, Wanda Sykes, Virginia Madson), THE HEALING (Hugo Weaving, Xavier Samuels), COLUMBUS CIRCLE (Selma Blair, Kevin Pollack, Giovanni Ribisi, Amy Smart), STRUCK BY LIGHTNING (Rebel Wilson, Chris Colfer, Christina Hendricks, Dermot Mulroney), BONNEVILLE (Jessica Lane, Kathy Bates, Tom Skerritt), BRAKE (Steven Dorf, Tom Berenger), and others.

Robert transitioned to Lightning from NFM after having created FANGORIA FRIGHTFEST, a hit co-branded distribution and promotional VOD platform premiering on major cable and satellite systems with hard-goods distribution through Block Buster, Walmart and other big box retailers. Robert served as the company’s Executive Vice President of Entertainment, overseeing acquisitions, programming, production and promotions. There he won more than twenty BDA/promax awards and a Mark Award for excellence in cable marketing. Prior to that, Robert worked at Warren Miller Entertainment as a Producer and Director for feature length adventure sports films and multiple original television series. During that time Robert also founded Medius, a multi-discipline creative boutique with an eclectic client list. Robert attended the University of Colorado at Boulder’s BFA Film Studies program where he was mentored by legendary filmmakers Stan Brakhage and Phil Solomon, and was a two-time recipient of the Golfarb Award for excellence in filmmaking. Recent producing credits include RIDE, EMELIE, HUSTLE DOWN, WINTER’S DREAM, DEAD DROP, and SCORNED. Recent directing credits include UPPERCUT starring John Rhys-Davies, Alice Coulthard, and Magda Apanowicz, and DEEP STAGE starring Brian Van Holt, Angus Macfadyen, and Griff Furst.

Jessica Hoang

Jessica Hoang is a producer and the Vice President of Content at ULTRAMEDIA. Jessica is intimately familiar with the holistic nature of film production and the film business. She views the industry as comprehensive ecosystem and has worked in development, financing, production, and sales internationally.

Jessica studied Pre-Law and Film, while focusing on Comparative Literature, at the University of California, Irvine, where she also won the UCI Screenwriting Festival during her time as a student. She speaks three languages – English, French and Vietnamese – and is currently brushing up on her Spanish and Italian.

Her producing credits include the feature films HUSTLE DOWN starring Tom Sizemore, Bai Ling, and Kevin Gage; REPEATER starring Nick Moran, Kristanna Loken, and Corbin Bernsen; DEEP STAGE starring Brian Van Holt, Angus Macfadyen, and Griff Furst, and UPPERCUT starring John Rhys-Davies, Alice Coulthard, and Magda Apanowicz.

Simon Crowe

Simon is one of the most respected names in the film sales industry. Founder of Velvet Octopus and formerly Head of Sales at Icon Entertainment International and Capitol Films, Simon has a wealth of experience in the International sales and distribution business.

In November 2008 Simon decided to go solo and formed SC Films International. He has been responsible for the International sales of commercial and art house films, most recently: ‘Retreat’ starring Jamie Bell, ‘Swinging with the Finkels’ starring Martin Freeman, Gabor Csupo’s ‘The Secret Of Moonacre’, Sony’s ‘Legion’, George Clooney’s ‘Sand and Sorrow’, Mel Gibson’s ‘The Passion of the Christ’, Robert Altman’s ‘A Prairie Home Companion’, ‘Lucky Number Slevin’ starring Josh Hartnett, Morgan Freeman and Bruce Willis and the action adventure ‘Stormbreaker.’

Marina Fuentes Arredonda

Marina Fuentes Arredonda, a native of Boulder (CO), studied Business Administration in CUNEF (MADRID) and Paris (European University) and Film at CU (Boulder, CO). She then workedin Production and exhibition in the US and Spain after which she headed LOLA FILMS International Sales Department from 1999 to 2003. In May of 2003 Marina founded LUMINA FILMS with the IFC Company, a Sales Agency based in Madrid and London. In 2006 she left LUMINA and founded 6 SALES through the Production company GALBA PRODUCTIONS.

Marina has arranged for output deals with several companies including ULTRAMEDIA in Los Angeles headed by Robert Beaumont, ARCADIA’s DREAMCATCHERS, and BRAVEN FILMS in NY. Fuentes’ credits as Producer include amongst others Chromophobia (Cannes Closing Film of 2006), The Runway, Blackthorn, The Adventurer, Desert Dancer, Young Ones (Sundance 2014) and Aloft (Berlin 2014). Also a fan of animation she has been involved in financing and producing Midsummer Dream and Miffy The Movie.
